Brampton Wolves are a Canadian men’s Twenty20 franchise cricket team that competes in the Global T20 Canada League (GT20). Based in Brampton in the Canadian province of Ontario, the Wolves wear an orange and grey uniform and plays most of their matches at their home ground, the Brampton Centre for Sports & Entertainment (also known as CAA Centre).
The Wolves were formed in 2019 to play in the second season of the Global T20 Canada tournament after the organisers decided to scrap plans to feature a sixth team called the “New York Legends”. Brampton Wolves replaced the West Indies B Team, who had finished runner-up in the inaugural Global T20 Canada tournament in 2018. After finishing first in the regular season games, the Wolves were defeated by the Winnipeg Hawks in the third-place playoff match in the 2019 competition.
